'Til Mossflower is FreeI was there at Salamandastron,During the days of Ungatt Trunn.More than threescore hares and a badger lordGave their lives during the battle,Buying my family time to get away from the Blue Horde.Scarcely a season later, I was with a number of others,All armed for war,Following Lord Brocktree. We engaged the wildcat’s horde,Outnumbered, but undeterred. No quarter given and none taken,Friend and foe alike died on that day,For we would not rest,Until Mossflower was free. Some seasons later, I was a slave on the red Goreleech. The captain was a cruel one,None left the ship alive. One day they captured a mouse named Luke,Ful

Mother, Will you be Mine?Mother, will you be mine?In sickness and in health? When I make you go crazy,Mother, will you still be mine?Mother, will you be mine? When I bring home that someone,That you don't want me with,Mother, will you still be mine?Mother, will you be mine? When you have grown old,And little ones call you Grandmother,Mother, will you still be mine?Mother, will you be mine? When you are dead and gone,And no longer with us,Mother, will you still be my mother?
Family CrestI've been looking up my Family Crest- Now, I don't know if these are the right ones for my particular family branches, but I'll list the common depictions.Common to Both:Name ribbon and County ribbon at top and bottom- a knight's helm in the middle of the top decoration, which is either a wreath of leaves, or one of feathers, depending on the family.Common Attributes of the Lockwood Crest (Father's Side):Three horizontal bars, either black or white, alternating. Three doves, two in the top bar, one in the bottom, opposite the bar's color, though they can be blue at times. Wreath tends to have red and white in it, occasionally black and/
This Big Ol' RockOutside of the place I once lived is this big old rock. Been there since the ice age most likely. Surrounded by cattails and half-buried in mud, unchanging as time passed. When I was a child, I saw it as a big huge thing- still is, though now it looks much smaller. The house is well over a hundred years old and it’s been in the family in a long time, last three generations at any rate. It’s been some time since I’d been there, but I finally got the chance to check it out when my older brother got it from the prior occupants, who were renting the place out from my father. To put it bluntly, Father Time took a bat to the plac
Easter TraditionsEvery Easter, I can predict what will happen. At a certain point, we’ll head to my grandmother’s. We say “Hello” to those we haven’t seen since Christmas. We say a blessing for those who ain’t there, for the food, and all that. Eventually we’ll sit down for a late lunch-dinner thing.Should the day have been nice, grandma and the others will scatter the eggs; sometimes they’ll actually hide them, but other times they’ll just plain scatter them throughout the lawn on all sides of the house. If the day was nasty, the eggs will be in a box, and the objective is just plainly to stuff your bag
That Day- September 11, 2001There are some days we can recall, even years after the event- first sleepover, first fish, first deer, first kiss, the time you met that special someone- we all remember it- or at least most of it. You might not recall how tired you were after hiking for five miles in heavy clothes, how bad your date's breath was, or how awkward you felt, or any of the other "insignificant details". However, you remember the important stuff- the excitement of showing your father that first 4-point, and saving those antlers, the color of your date's eyes- they just drew you right in, didn't they. You remember those things. Then there are the days you can't
Surviving Zombies 5Skills needed to survive.Medical: It is important to know how to patch up injuries, such as cuts, bruises, broken bones, and more. However, extreme caution should be taken around bite injuries.Marksmanship: Whether your target is a deer for your group's supper, a roaming zombie, or a hostile human, marksmanship is important. Practice with the weapon you intend to use at least 30 minutes a day. Your main target is the head, as that will put the person, animal, or zombie down quickly (and without undue suffering).Hand-to-hand combat: You need to know how to escape from zombies' grabs, and know how to kill enemy group leaders quickly, so y
Surviving Zombies 4Essential Tools and weaponsIf you are alone, or in a small group, it is important that you carry your own equipment and weapons, and what each person should have. Your things should perform multiple functions, such as getting supplies and killing zombies. Also, everyone needs to be able to carry their own weight, and even children (at least those over ten) need to help out. Here is but a few things you'll need.Toilet Paper: If you manage to get a package, don't just use the paper to wipe your butt. You can use the "soiled" paper to start fires, (although I'd wait at least five minutes before putting food near the fire), and you can use cl
Surviving Zombies 3Types of SurvivorsThere are many types of potential survivors you could encounter. Knowing how to deal with them could save your life. Just remember this; people can be of all sorts. They might be there for you for the long haul, and might risk everything to help you. The might help you only if it benefits them. They might not help you, but they might not harm you. Or, they might want to kill you, and take everything you've got. Know this, disasters such as a zombie apocalypse can bring out the Best, and Worst, in people. Now you must remember a couple of things, the zombies pose a great danger, but other people can pose an even greater da
Surviving Zombies 2WeaponsIf you're going to survive the zombie apocalypse, you will need weapons, and it is important you know how to use them effectively. Also, practice often. And more importantly, fight only if there is no choice. Also, the head is your main target. Destroy the brain, and you'll kill the zombie. Failing that, jaw, limbs, and spine damage will reduce the threat that zombie posses. Also, be sure to clean your weapon after use, as dirt, powder residue, and blood can ruin the weapon, causing guns to misfire, metal to rust, and so on.*Note* If a weapon is not mentioned, that might be because a similar weapon has been mentioned, or I didn't
War-StarCraft Interview(Setting is your typical Talk Show set, with a desk and a couple of lounge chairs. There are three men on the set. One is the Interviewer. He is wearing a black casual suit and checkered tie, and is sitting at the desk. The other two men, who are sitting in the lounge chairs, are a Terran Marine and a Human Footman. The Marine is wearing something that looks like a spaceman's outfit, with lots of dings and scratches. He also has what looks to be a high powered rifle next to him. The Footman is wearing an outfit that a knight from the 13th century might be familiar with, full body plate armor, which is also dented and scratched. He also has a
